Cambil Brahmans is situated in the Whitsunday shire, 10 km N/E of Proserpine.

The Stud was first formed in 1985 to produce bulls for our own Commercial herd.

Top quality functional bulls and females were sourced from leading studs and a large emphasis was placed on selecting practical, beef type cattle with the strong commercial traits of bone, length, muscling, temperament, calving ease and mothering ability.

In recent years we have purchased some top quality females with the latest and strongest genetics in the industry. Combined with the leading cows in our herd, we now have an outstanding selection of donor females.

Our strong sire base, together with the use of leading sires from Australia and overseas, means we are also utilising the very best semen available in our embryo programs. As a result, we are now producing calves with exceptional bloodlines of the highest standard.

Brahman Paddock Bulls

Throughout the year good quality paddock bulls are available. Our bulls are bred on the coast and have been sold to buyers throughout Qld and the Northern Territory where they have performed well. We have used our bulls in our own commercial herd for over 15 years, producing steers and bullocks to meet all markets in the industry.

We have enjoyed success at the National Livestock Championships in Charters Towers winning the prestigious Golden Pen Award for our bullocks and trade steers on all three occasions that we have exhibited cattle at this event.

Red and grey Brahman bulls start at $2500+GST. Please contact us for inspections.
