The 2008 Big Country Brahman Sale will be a significant event for our stud. This year we will be taking the biggest team ever of bulls, made up of 22 lots, comprised of 14 grey bulls and eight red bulls.

Leading the draft of grey bulls is Cambil Luther 3118. He is a son of JDH Karu 800 and his dam is Cambil Mississippi 2257 who is a top producing embryo donor in our herd. Luther is a bull with a lot of size, length, bone and a strong sire head.

Following Luther in the draft are full brothers Cambil Hector and Cambil Harvey. They are the first sons of JDH Jordan Manso 29/1 and both of these bulls show a lot of thickness and tremendous beef quality.

Two more sons of JDH Jordan come in later in the draft, Cambil Murdock and Cambil Maverick. Both these full brothers, with fully imported bloodlines, are the first calves to be offered by the dam FBC Jewel Manso 473. We believe these two sires exhibit outstanding Brahman qualities and will be most attractive to buyers.

Also in the draft are five sons of Tartrus Rembrandt which was purchased for half share in 2003 for $50,000. They all show the tremendous breed character that are being seen from Rembrandt so often, with exceptional natural beef and carcase style.

We are also offering four younger sires by Brahrock Lucky Boy out of top producing Cambil cows by JDH Shano Manso. With these strong consistent genetics, at just 24 months, these bulls have great early beef qualities.

Leading the red draft of bulls are two polled, full brothers by Tartrus Redmont.

These bulls exhibit wonderful volume and depth of muscling, spring of rib and a tremendous topline which will draw producers to inspect these top young sires.

Three red sons, two of which are polled, by Lancefield Rousabout are also on offer.

These bulls are real sirey types with wonderful temperaments and are sure to attract interest.

The final three red bulls of the draft are by Lancefield Randwick. They are eye-catching bulls that are well grown, proud stylish types with lovely length, softness and smoothness. Soundly structured on good feet and legs and an abundance of beef qualities.
